Kapusta
Ingredients:
I qt. sauerkraut
3/4 cup dried peas
1/2 cup fresh chopped mushrooms
1/2 lb. chopped bacon
1 medium chopped onion
2 tbl. flour
Butter or Pam cooking spray
Cook peas in water until soft. Drain kraut, reserving 1 cup of the liquid. Cook kraut and mushrooms in water for 30 minutes.
Fry onion and bacon together until both are soft. Blend in flour and add kraut liquid a little at a time until sauce is thickened.
Drain cooked kraut. Add peas and stir. Place in buttered baking dish. Mix in onion/bacon/sauce. Bake covered in 325 degree oven for 45 minutes to an hour.
